On Monday, April 27, we hosted our annual Team United Golf Tournament fundraiser at the Athens Country Club. The tournament was a four-person scramble format with prizes for the winning team, long drive, closest to the pin, and most money raised. This money raised will be used for Team United to continue to be able to operate on campus, as well as help support our individual staff members. Thank you to everyone who participates and gives to help support Team United through this event! You are truly partners with us in the work God is doing through TU.
This fundraiser works a little differently than most other golf tournaments. To play, we ask that each golfer help us raise money by providing TU with a list of names and addresses of people they would like to ask to give financially to Team United. Then TU sends a letter explaining the ministry and tournament to each person on behalf of the golfer. If you provide TU with a list of names, your participation fee is covered. Otherwise, there is a $250.00 per player fee. Please contact us and we will be sure to get you the information you need.
