Annual Team United Golf Tournament

On Monday, April 29, we held our annual Team United Golf Tournament fundraiser at the Athens Country Club. The tournament is a four-person scramble format with prizes for the winning team, long drive, closest to the pin, and most money raised. Overall we were able to raise over $30,000 this year. This money will be used for Team United to continue to be able to operate on campus, as well as help support our individual staff members.  Thank you to everyone who participated and gave to help support Team United through this event! You are truly partners with us in the work God is doing through TU.

Congratulations to our winning team of Jason Dominey, Chad Dominey, Jeremy Hobbs, and Joe Colavito. They shot a 10 under par to be this years champions.

This fundraiser works a little differently than most other golf tournaments. To play, we ask that each golfer help us raise money by providing TU with a list of names and addresses of people they would like to ask to give financially to Team United. Then TU sends a letter explaining the ministry and tournament to each person on behalf of the golfer. So, it actually does not cost the golfer any money to play. If you are interested in participating next year, please contact us and we will be sure to get you the information you need.
